This workshops has capability to do under water repairs and along side jetty repairs on any type of vessels, and also fundamental repairs and up grading any kind of old vessels up to 80000 DWT, by using the most modern equipments and machineries with the most experienced specialists.

The workshops are consists of; automatic painting, sand blasting, cutting, welding, lathing, diesel, piping, joinery, electrical & electronic, communication, valve repairs, shaft and propeller shops.

All workshops have been equipped to the best equipments and machineries such as: automatic sandblast and painting machine, automatic plasma and oxy-acetylene cutting machine, curve panels equipments, TTS machine for manufacturing flat panels automatically, automatic bending machine, automatic axle lathe machine and many other
small types of machinery.
 

The yard capacity for repair works is 120 units per annum (in final operational phase). Vessels up to 80,000 DWT is repaired by using floating dock and medium size up to 30,000 DWT by using of syncrolift. Also shipyard has 7 dry berths with 120,000 m2.
 

Furthermore, floating dock is equipped with two cranes with different capacity of 10 ton and 25 ton for undertaking all the repair works.

Jetty No. 69, 335m in length is used for preliminary repair on arrival of vessels and / or final operation of vessels.
